Although each software gaming studio is targeting different markets and geo locations, we have noticed that some casino software brands are more popular than others worldwide. That’s why we have analyzed a total of 327 casinos. Here are the top 10 casinos:

  1. #1 Evolution Gaming: Starting with the number 1 spot, we can see that Evolution Gaming leads with a total of 77.37% presence. 253 online casinos in total offer games from the leading live casino software studio, which is probably not surprising. Evolution Gaming is the brand behind some of the best games with real dealers, such as Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette.
  2. #2 NetEnt: The second spot is for another big name in iGaming – NetEnt. The statistics show that 74.01%, or 242 casinos in total, provide games from this brand. NetEnt is an old and respected name in online gambling behind titles such as Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest.
  3. #3 Play’N GO: Up next, we have Play’N Go, a software provider that has become a lot more popular recently. A total of 68.02%, or 223 casinos in total, provide games from this brand. You may not know, but Play’N Go is behind titles such as Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest, Viking Runecraft 100, and more.
  4. #4 Pragmatic Play: Interestingly, Pragmatic Play has the same result as Play’N Go, with 68.02% or 223 casinos in total. A lot of people consider PP to be among the best iGaming software studios because it powers the legendary Drops and Wins games and tournaments. Lately, the brand also offers plenty of live casino games.
  5. #5 Microgaming: Here is the next option, with 67.58% or 221 casinos. This software studio is famous for being among the oldest in the business. It’s the brand behind games such as Mega Moolah.
  6. #6 Betsoft: The 5th place for the most popular casino software provider is Betsoft. 221 casinos have games from this brand (64.53%), which means you may find games like Rise of Triton Hold & Win.
  7. #7 Quickspin: This is the next casino software brand in terms of popularity, and it has a 56.57% presence. Found in more than 185 casinos, players who use such an operator can experience games like Big Bad Wolf Pigs of Steel.
  8. #8 BTG: Another popular brand you should consider is Big Time Gaming. Available in 183 casinos (55.96%), this is another household name that is behind a lot of your favorite games. For example, Big Time Gaming came up with the title Panda Money.
  9. #9 Wazdan: Coming in at number 9, we have Wazdan, a software operator present in 55.66% of 182 online casinos. Although people often underestimate it, this company has many top-notch games, such as Mighty Symbols: Sevens, 30 Coins, and others.
  10. #10 Playson: Finally, at 53.52% and present in 175 of the operators we tested is Playson studios. They offer both video games, and live dealer studios. It is mostly popular in Europe, Lating America and Africa.

Considering that some of the big online casinos have a lot of software providers they work with, it’s no surprise that this list is incomplete. There are a lot of other studios that deserve attention, such as 1×2 Gaming, Amatic, Spinomenal, and more. However, they are not as common as the top 10, so we have decided not to include them here.

Many inexperienced gamblers don’t realize the importance of choosing games from reputable software studios. Graphics aside, the big brands provide better higher RTPs and a way better overall experience.

How Often Will We Update The Stats Here?

Our goal is to update the stats at least once per year because some operators don’t add new software providers to their portfolios. While it is true they keep adding new games, the latter usually come from an operator that the company is already working with.

We advise you to visit this page every now and then so you can keep track of the latest data. Remember that there might be new casino software studios that may take over this industry, so we may see a lot of new games.

As someone who has been a part of the online casino industry for many years, I have seen a lot of changes. Back when I started my business, there were only a handful of software studios. Nowadays, things are different, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are many more operators in the future.

Since the number of gambling websites is increasing worldwide, we expect to see at least a couple of new big casino software studios in the future – specializing in the MetaVerse casino games, probably. Becoming a part of this industry is not easy, and it requires a lot of resources, but it’s not impossible.

Speaking of new software studios, we think that AI will have a vital role here. Many new businesses will use the popular tech to their advantage and develop new games. In fact, we expect some of them to be a lot more advanced and offer even better RTPs, wild symbols, and more.

Only time will tell, but you can be sure we will keep an eye on everything and inform you when needed.
